While our ecosystem partners have already integrated our API for your convenience, you’re not limited to their solutions. You can connect almost any controllable system to your ISAAC platform using either our API or the built-in Node-RED control environment.

Integrations utilize the ISAAC API to leverage ISAAC Platform features to expand their capabilities and offerings. Systems that integrate with the ISAAC Platform expose schedulable items, variables, control panels, and logging information while also being able to consume the Schedule, the CMS, the User Authentication service, and more.

Events

Events lets your integration receive and act on them when scheduled in ISAAC.

Playables are duration-based events such as timelines, media, or compositions.

Players

Players can be added to leverage the CMS to schedule or instantly play media.

Templates for compositions can be published to create customizable media.

Variables

Variables made available through your integration can be used for monitoring, alerts, and more.

Easily integrate web interfaces by registering them as Control Panels.

How to integrate a system with ISAAC

When you want to integrate a system but it isn't listed in the ISAAC Ecosystem, you have two options:

Includes an exclusive set of ready-to-use ISAAC API nodes, making it easy to integrate. Node-RED is fully embedded into ISAAC Workspace as a Virtual Appliance.
